Welcome Back!

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope this letter finds you well and that you and your families have enjoyed a restful and joyful summer break.

It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the new Interim Headteacher of Ecchinswell & Sydmonton Primary School.

My name is Paul Davies, and I feel truly privileged to be entrusted with the responsibility of leading this wonderful school community. I am committed to working closely with you to ensure that every child receives the best possible education in a nurturing and inspiring environment.

As we begin this new chapter together, I am delighted to share the first of several improvements we are making to enhance communication and engagement. We have launched a brand-new school website, which you can visit here.

The website is designed to be both a showcase of our school’s values and achievements, and a one-stop shop for key information, including newsletters, term dates, policies, and updates. We hope it will become a valuable resource for all families.

To mark the beginning of this exciting new era, the children were treated to a Science Magic Show by Dr. Matt Prichard on their first day back. The theme was space and rockets, and it was a fantastic way to "launch" the new school year with curiosity, wonder, and enthusiasm!

As we move forward, please remember that my door is always open. If there is anything you wish to discuss, share, or ask, do not hesitate to get in touch. I am here to listen, support, and work in partnership with you.
