At Ecchinswell and Sydmonton CE Primary School, we aim to equip our children with essential knowledge that will prepare them for their future success. We want to give our children the best possible start to their education. We have developed Cultural Capital Passports, which include both knowledge and experiences we would like our children to gain during their time with us. Examples of our passports are below.
School Council
The children elect new school council members each September. The members represent Year One up to Year Six. The School Council meets regularly with Mrs Hartley and discuss a variety of things. In November they planned a cake sale in aid of Children in Need and raised £165 in total.
House Captains
Each September each House elects a house captain and vice-captain for their team. The children elected are responsible for awarding the reading challenges each week, as well as leading their team during sports afternoon. We often have house afternoons where we work on particular projects.
